CACI International Windows Systems Administrator in Norfolk, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a mid-level Microsoft Windows Systems Administrator to join our project team at Naval Station Norfolk. The selected candidate will be recognized as a technical authority on Windows administration to support business operations for DoD, DoN and command environments.

As a member of the systems team, the selected candidate will perform the following:

  • Manage multi-site domains and forests.

  • Deploy and maintain Windows servers and workstations.

  • Manage and administer group policy for multiple domains.

  • Implement DISA STIGs for servers, domain controllers and workstations.


  • Must be US Citizen.

  • Must possess active SECRET Clearance or higher.

  • Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP).

  • Possess Microsoft Server OS certification (2008 or more recent).

  • Experience managing, administering and deploying Windows servers in domains and forests, including Active Directory domain controllers and group policies.

  • Experience performing upgrades of Windows servers and workstations.

  • Experience with Windows PowerShell for scripting.

  • Experience performing duties related to help desk operations and day-to-day management of customer-facing systems.


  • Experience performing system administration duties in a DoD or DoN environment.

  • Experience implementing DISA STIGs to maintain system security posture.

  • Experience with virtual environment management tools, such as VMware vCenter.

  • Experience with whitelisting utilities such as AppLocker.

  • Possess Microsoft Desktop OS certification (Windows 7 or 10).
