CACI International PL/SQL Programmer in Norfolk, Virginia
CACI is seeking a PL/SQL Programmer responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).
What You’ll Get to Do:
Presents ideas for system improvements and develops cost estimates for software developments or enhancements.
Conducts impact analysis for software changes and produces detailed specifications and writes software code.
Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements, and conducts unit tests and documents findings.
Supports formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production, and adheres to program configuration change control standards.
Provides input into training manuals for users.
Understands the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, and Momentum).
Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programmatic interface (API).
Extends applications by using applicable application tools. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application
Supports custom web based applications and PL/SQL development running on Windows servers utilizing an Oracle based data tier.
Design, implement, code, test and maintain code according to design documentation, industry best practices, and established software development standards.
Supports software development and test teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Includes incremental script execution and defect resolution and implements custom software releases.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
Mid level experience to include at least two (2) years' of experience with Oracle and/or PL SQL development
Bachelors' in Computer Science is preferred
Familiar with Toad for Oracle 12; Security + CE certification
