Sales - Outside Account Manager - Norcross Industrial 600 - Norcross (Hub) - 6500 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, Georgia, United States of America Req #10310JOB SUMMARY-Maintains relationships and obtains orders from existing customers, as well as, secures new customers. This position will focus on Industrial End User and OEM Accounts.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Secures orders from existing and new customers by means of visiting the customer facility and job site(s) or contacting by phone.Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements.Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to customers.Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management,other key personnel).Targets new accounts;generates account growth in current accounts; follows up on key company initiatives to grow markets; follow-up on qualified leads.Meet margin dollar goals as agreed upon during forecasting with the branch or sales manager.Maintain communications with key internal resources concerning customer relations and respond to concerns in a timely manner.Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes,orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.Negotiates and oversees maintenance of profitable, accurate account matrixMaintain key supplier rapport promoting Mayer as First Choice for suppliers while focused on Mayer brandingMakes joint calls with manufacturers' reps.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs all assigned duties for assigned customers.NAED EPEC Bronze Certification.Provides lost business reports on a weekly basis.Provides an updated sales forecast on a yearly basis for assigned customers.Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by the branch manager.Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from the branch manager.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma plus one year sales experience.Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable,extroverted personality, well organized.Territory - North GA, with some travel required for manufacturer's factory product training.Ability to drive company vehicle.DESIRED EXPERIENCE / CAPABILITIES:Bachelor's Degree.Mayer Electric Supply is fully committed to equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, veteran status, sexual preference, or handicap where unrelated to job performance.
