This is an entry level position with the goal that after enough training and exposure, the Sales Associate will be ready to move into a Territory Sales Manager (TSM), or next level, position. In the Sales Associate role, you will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, and educating customers on product features, distinctions, and utilization. You will represent the Company in sales calls, and assist your Regional Sales Team in achieving designated sales goals. You'll be responsible for administrative duties such as preparing reports, entering data in, and following up on orders. You will attend sales meetings and trade shows, and remain cognizant of trends and developments in the industry by monitoring competitor activities and products, trade magazines and associations, and customer feedback.Your roleDeveloping new and / or expanding business with existing customers through introduction of new products, presenting product information, and explaining product features and distinctionsWorking with distributor management and distributor sales representatives to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, expand business opportunities, and increase customer serviceIdentifying and resolving customer problems through contact with the Customer Service DepartmentDeveloping effective customer relations in order to ensure satisfaction and service, and promote needs awarenessMaintaining a variety of contacts within the Company to gather and exchange information related to sales goals and results, product availability and pricing, marketing strategies and plans, and status of ordersAssisting with the creation of sales meeting presentation materialsSales Associate ProgramThe Sales Associate will undergo approximately two (2) months of on-boarding and twenty-two (22) months of functional field sales training and experience, working or assisting in a territoryHolding a Sales Associate position should not exceed twenty-four (24) months from your start date, promotion into the TSM or next level position should occur before this time periodProjects could include temporarily relocating to an open territory for an extended period of time to cover a vacancyOther extended travel could include job shadowing senior level sales professionals to learn the business, in-services at customer locations to train clinicians Upon successful completion of the Sales Associate program and in line with all assigned Management Business Objectives (MBOs), individuals are able to vie for open TSM, or next level, positions that match their skills and interests within the CompanyFilling an open position will likely include permanent relocation, so you must be open to movingRequirementsEducation and experienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field from an accredited college and / or university requiredDemonstrated leadership skills during collegiate experience strongly preferredCustomer service, sales and / or marketing experience preferred, but not requiredHigh level of written and oral communication...
