SUMMARY: This position is responsible for directing, controlling, and coordinating all aspects of plant production in order to maximize the long-term and short-term profitability of the company. This requires working with Team Members to develop good working relationships and high morale, performing administrative duties and seeing that objectives are being met, and communicating with Team Members on project timelines and tasks that need to be completed immediately. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality. Other responsibilities include developing and training Team Members, holding monthly safety meetings and group discussions, and troubleshooting areas that might cause problems with production. Additional duties include computing quarterly figures and their relationship to objectives, handling Team Member grievances, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. For example, checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Travel: 6 plus trips per year. Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.
