The Consultant will form part of the Professional Services team and will be working on various projects for Customers, Accountants and Business Partners.
In order to provide value added services through this role, significant industry experience will be utilised to challenge and influence Customers, Accountants and Business Partners in order to run their businesses more efficiently and effectively. This will clearly show a return on investment for their business.
Analyse business processes and make recommendations for improvement as the SME.
Fully implement software into businesses up to SMB’s.
Manage own profitability and costs to ensure the desired level of margin is achieved.
Ensure utilisation targets are met through smart travel planning and repeat business.
Successfully deliver consultancy based training on all Sage products for new and existing users.
Project manage and deliver the migration of competitor software for up to several thousand companies.
Provide invaluable insight to the business to support future development of software.
Generate the required level of sales recommendations in order to achieve revenue targets.
Provide accurate and timely information to the Professional Services Manager
Ensure product knowledge is accurate and up to date at all times
Provide pre sales support by working closely with our sales teams to understand and define key business drivers and requirements

To deliver consultancy based learning.
Travel and overnight stays are required for this role, expected 4 nights away from home per week.

Need to Know
Skills & Experience
Ability to consult and train on a minimum one Sage 50 Accounts or Sage 200 product.
Be able to understand customer requirements and adapt training style and content to suit.
Exceptional planning, organisational and time management skills
Take accountability of the situation – “think on their feet”
Build rapport/relationship with Customers, Accountants and Business Partners.
Self-motivated and can demonstrate having worked with minimum supervision
Ability to multi-task and manage a varying workload
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
Work effectively under pressure
Ability to listen and react to customer’s questions and concerns
Skilled in more than two products
Prior consultancy experience
Presentation and training experience on a group or 1:1 basis
Proven track record of developing training and development material.
Full UK Driving Licence (Car).
Work with others across Sage to achieve business objectives and strategy, whilst maintaining customer services and quality standards.
