The Sales Operations Associate will provide day-to-day business operational support to internal customers. This role partners closely with Operations, Sales and other departments to drive greater efficiencies with processes, reporting, tools, etc. to improve sales productivity. This is a collaborative and detail-oriented role that enables the associate to interact with multiple parts of the organization and make an impact on the daily operation of the business.

Candidates for this role should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, analytical abilities and a strong interest in learning the Salesforce.com platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to and work closely with Business Operations Manager

  • Gain a deep understanding of all our internal systems (including Salesforce.com) and sales processes to provide general support and training to sales team and new hires

  • Generate and analyze reports as requested by sales and sales management team

  • Assist in managing territory and account assignments

  • Responsible for data cleanliness and identifying and resolving data inaccuracies within our systems

  • Develop and maintain sales team resources as needed; perform routine updating of dashboards and process documentation

  • Organize and consolidate information from multiple systems and utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare lists/reports for consumption of sales team and leadership; importing/exporting of data between various systems

  • Proactively collaborates with sales team to solicit feedback and improves or creates processes/procedures as needed to improve productivity

  • Learning the Salesforce.com platform and serving as backup Salesforce Administrator as needed

  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred

  • 1-2 years professional work experience

  • Previous operational experience supporting multiple teams and/or departments a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Google apps, other commonly used business applications; demonstrated ability to learn new systems

  • Some experience with Salesforce.com and a strong interest in developing Salesforce Administrator skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Impeccable organizational, analytical and time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Must be a team player who enjoys supporting their customer
