Within WWL, the Global Field & Partner Learning (GFPL) team leads cross-segment, role-based learning programs focused on increasing technical, industry, and professional capabilities, to measurably accelerate field and partner performance. Our team delivers learning programs to over 60,000 professionals across our field organization, and to over 1 million learners across our partner ecosystem.
The GFPL team supporting Customer Service & Support (CSS) is seeking a Learning Development Manager (LDM) for the Cloud & AI (SBU) to drive the definition and planning of technical and non-technical learning and development as part of role and SBU-specific learning plans for people in the Cloud & AI SBU. This is an exciting role where you will partner with the SBU senior leaders and the learning and development leads, as well as many collaborators and contributors from the GFPL team, the broader WW Learning organization, engineering groups, and others to build the learning and development strategy for the CSS Cloud & AI SBU. Please note that this is an individual contributor role.
The objectives for this role include:
Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure business relevance of new, innovative learning programs leveraging the expertise of technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from within the business.
Drive continuous improvement of readiness processes, tools, and infrastructure to ensure efficient, results-driven, and cost-effective scalable operations.
Develop shared accountability with stakeholders to ensure alignment and value for investment.
This role requires program/project management experience and field experience in consulting and/or proactive support with technologies. You will work with the other CSS SBU LDMs in WW Learning to find commonalities and efficiencies where appropriate and in alignment with the specific needs of the business. You will need to be able to succeed while managing competing requirements.

Cross-team collaboration is essential to ensure the greatest potential impact against our shared business objectives.
- Create learning and development plans based upon business needs that result in an increasingly skilled workforce
o List of functional and product skill areas that are gaps or deficiencies in
the SBU related to solutions, technologies, products, offers, etc. that are
relevant to the given SBU
o Prioritization of listed items as defined by senior leadership
o Plans to address prioritized skill area gaps to build needed learning and
development resources (learning objectives, expected format, estimated
cost and time to build and deliver)
Partner with senior leadership to organize the collection of skill area gaps and inputs from the business to balance current and future business priorities.
Critical indicators of success:
Quarterly Development Plan: Each quarter use assessment results to determine if agreed upon business targets are being met. Develop follow up plan to support the re-assessment of workforce skills at the SBU leader-set attainment levels if necessary.
Quarterly Target Assessment: Each quarter use assessment results to determine if new business KPIs and associated target skill attainment levels should be set. Land new assessment plan reflecting decision that new KPIs/attainment levels should be set.
Partner with key stakeholders including SBU leaders/managers to ensure the execution of readiness plans for each quarter, ensuring roles can perform leader prioritized skills
Measure impact and derive insights, including NSAT, pre/post skills gains, 90 day applied skills, and correlations to business KPIs and report back to SBU leadership and the Learning and Development lead to inform future strategy
Strong field experience in functional and/or technical consulting and/or proactive support of technologies specific to the SBU
Program/project management skills across a broad portfolio of projects and strategic initiatives
Global experience managing diverse virtual teams without direct authority
Experience with training development including scoping, needs assessment, delivery and landing
Strong communications skills, executive presence and experience presenting to leadership
Proven experience in quickly ramping in new SBU areas and keeping up with the pace of change
Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex, matrixed environments with minimal oversight
7+ years’ experience delivering large program, project and learning and development efforts, executing learning and development strategies and frameworks, defining learning and development/project/program plans and executing on those plans to deliver business results.
5+ years’ experience in a consulting or proactive support related role.
Proven communication skills and ability to effectively influence colleagues and management.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results, meeting and exceeding expectations.
Skills in problem resolution, team building, negotiation, dealing with ambiguity, establishment of effective processes, tracking results and support systems.
Travel is required on occasion in support of learning and development delivery internationally (approx. 5%), and more often for planning and support of delivery (approx. 10%).
