KPMG is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Korean Practice to join ourpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, compliance, provision work, mergers and acquisitions activities, and assist with new business development related to these tax services

  • Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions for moderate to complex tax issues

  • Conduct research and analyze tax consequences to determine appropriate tax treatment of domestic and international taxation specifically in consolidated tax returns and reorganization

  • Conduct tax due diligence and prepare reports

  • Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on helping to provide industry knowledge and experience

  • Develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, J.D., or LL.M. (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)

  • Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, including provision and advisory experience, with a working knowledge of the application of ASC 740

  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information

  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams

  • Fluent in both English and Korean
