KPMG is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Korean Practice to join ourpractice.
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, compliance, provision work, mergers and acquisitions activities, and assist with new business development related to these tax services
Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions for moderate to complex tax issues
Conduct research and analyze tax consequences to determine appropriate tax treatment of domestic and international taxation specifically in consolidated tax returns and reorganization
Conduct tax due diligence and prepare reports
Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
Develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members
A minimum of eight years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, J.D., or LL.M. (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, including provision and advisory experience, with a working knowledge of the application of ASC 740
Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information
Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
Fluent in both English and Korean
