Summary Description: The Columbia Center for Translational Immunology (CCTI) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences with expertise in large animal transplant tolerance program management. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate a complex. multi-investigator large animal transplantation program. S/He will coordinate and manage multiple research laboratory investigations into transplantation tolerance induction. Performing support services such as ensuring animal production and importation to meet investigators' needs, scheduling. logistics, financial reconciliation, ICM/IACUC/FDA compliance, as well as resource allocation and direction. Successful candidate will support Principal Investigators, attend lab and program meetings, collage and document action items and communicate with research personnel and veterinary staff. PhD and/or DVM required.

Minimum Degree Required: M.D., Ph.D., or both

Minimum Qualifications:

All applicants MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered for the position. PhD and/or DVM required.

Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in research unit and the ability to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
