Job Role and Responsibilities:
The Advantage + Program Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of the World Wide Advantage + program which entails 1) deliver timely communications to key stakeholders 2) build and maintain training materials along with deliver readiness to key audiences 3) oversee policies and documentation to ensure 100% compliance 4) provide executive leadership over escalation management and 5) lead VMware acquisition integration into Advantage +. This role will be working with segment and regional sales & marketing owners to develop and implement program enhancements and ensure the infrastructure that incentivizes our Partners is fully optimized. Maintaining 100% compliance for program execution is a requirement.
The Advantage + Program Manager is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, financial/analytical and social skills. The role requires a proven track record in messaging/positioning, program management, and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to motivate, leverage, and lead internal teams on a project basis to accomplish the investment strategy.
Lead cross-functional teams to define the programs readiness and communication VMware needs to implement
Identify strategies, designs, and policy structures to deliver 100% compliance
Build customer, channel partner, and internal, program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, and marketing collateral that supports programs globally.
Manage the sales, business unit, Go-To Market, and marketing team feedback on the program once launched and effectively implement a road map of change that maps to the VMware business requirements.
Drive the requirements of the systems necessary to support the program and the enhancements to the infrastructure that is built to support the channel partner programs.
Collaborate and drive internal processes and methodologies to optimize Partner experience by minimizing escalations. Partnering with operations and support teams will be critical.
Other duties as assigned
The role requires a proven track record of executing business programs, planning and messaging, program activation and communications, project management and working across multiple teams in complex organizations.
6-8 years of experience in Partner Programs, Incentives/ Rebates, or equivalent experience
Experience working with Channel Partners
Intermediate skill level in data analysis and use of Excel
Previous experience in leading cross functional teams and requirements
Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-regionally, and globally
Excellent project management skills - time management, planning and problem-solving
Excellent organization skills, including ability to lead multiple tasks and projects, and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to relate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders
Extraordinary attention to detail
Proven ability to define metrics to assess program impacts and monitor programs for impact and success. Evaluate program impact based on results and recommend changes to improve program performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BA/BS degree
Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Location - Open to VMware hub or Remote in the US.
