We are searching for a Healthcare Nurse Recruiter who would be a great addition to our Human Resources team responsible for hiring qualified, compassionate, patient-centered healthcare professionals to meet the needs of our continued growth.

POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of this job is to recruit and hire candidates for the hospital. To collaborate with management to identify, recommend, and implement retention policies to for various staff positions within the hospital.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of six (6) years of work experience.

Two (2) years experience in a hospital or health care facility recruiting for all levels of staffing, preferred.

Desired Certification:
CHCR, PHR/SPHR Certification

POSITION DUTIES:

40% Administers recruitment for nursing, allied health, professional, technical, clerical and service areas. Conducts interviews, pre-employment screens, and refers applicants for available positions. Coordinates the pre-employment process. Ensures references documentation and salary negotiations meet departmental goals and objectives.

20% Coordinate status changes, promotions, transfers, etc.

15% Coordination of HR requirements (employee health, education, certifications, and/or licensure) in accordance with Joint Commission requirements before employment begins. Ensure candidates possess all required documents based on the official position job description.

15% Serves in an advisory capacity to management throughout the hiring process. Coordinates advertising campaigns, development of recruitment materials and retention strategies. Recommends programs to senior leadership based on current trends and needs. Attends job fairs and career days for Nursing and Allied Health positions.

10% Establish and maintain relationship with nursing, allied health, and other healthcare and community programs, students and clinical affiliations to develop a pipeline for recruitment.
