Keystone Insurers Group Account Manager in New Kingstown, Pennsylvania

Cumberland Valley Insurance is a small family owned agency that has served the South Central Pennsylvania area for nearly 40 years with an emphasis on Commercial Lines. As a partner agency in the Keystone Insurers Group, we have the necessary resources and ability to serve most individuals and commercial enterprises. Positive client relationships are key to our success.

The person we are seeking will be responsible for the management and servicing of designated commercial clients.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily in-house commercial lines account management
  • Assistance with new business development
  • Rating of prospective new business
  • Remarketing of existing business
  • Billing
  • Answering the phone when needed Skills/experience/qualifications

  • Experienced and knowledgable in the handling of all areas of commercial lines insurance including underwriting, rating, and coverage issues

  • Professional attitude with an insurance designation or significant progress towards attaining one
  • Able and willing to work independently
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Agency management systems (ideally AMS)
  • Personable – good phone, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Affable, agreeable, easy to work with
  • Courteous and patient with clients – well-mannered and helpful
  • Able to perform online commercial rating using carrier websites
  • Adequately familiar with PL products and processes to be able to fill in as needed Salary and benefits
