Communication Senior Specialist (NAFTA) (Job Number: 200578W-01)
As an integral member of the regional NAFTA Communications team and the wider Global Communications team, the Communications Specialist, Senior will provide strong support to the Global Digital and Communications Leader, the America’s, assisting in defining and executing a strategic communications plan across both internal and external audiences aligned to regional business priorities and delivering on business outcomes.
The Communications Specialist, Senior would own the overall plan and be accountable for execution across defined industries and work streams, with some deliverables owned outright while others requiring orchestration across various communication disciplines to leverage specialist expertise. Strong collaboration and alignment to Global Communications, Divisions and Corporate Communications messaging and the Industry Marketing approach are also critical.
Furthermore, the role is to ensure that key success, risks and time-stamped milestones are clearly and effectively communicated across the breadth of the organization in an integrated manner through DMX / SMP channels of communications to ensure learning’s are captured and actioned.

Key responsibilities and tasks:
Act as one of the driving forces to build integrated communications plans across industry or platform addressing all relevant internal and external audiences to help drive business objectives(regional or global industry teams, coordinating support as necessary from Sales, Marketing, Global Product Managers, Applications, etc. to add value by defining, driving, collaborating and orchestrating an integrated plan and continuously identifying areas of development and learning for future growth
Play key role as representing the Regional Communications team ensuring close alignment with the marketing, industry, division, sales teams and other functions as appropriate
Is responsible for directly or indirectly for regional strategic and tactical communication plans – with responsibility of certain defined industries/platform
Support the regional Profit Objective
Ensure correct implementation of all brand and design guidelines
Develop required elements of the communications mix (videos, collateral, e-publications, direct mails, advertising, PR etc ensuring integrated execution across the different channels within defined areas of industries/platforms
Support regional exhibitions and events including thought leadership in conjunction with relevant teams
Collaborates across the region to drive targeted, relevant, and timely communications through an efficient and effective channel utilization and mix; ensuring message relevance and consistency at all times.
Ensures that communication strategy is consistently executed across multiple channels (PR, Web / Online, internal, SEO, social media, SEM and E-mail marketing, influencer relations, etc.)
Ability to write PR to support the needs of the region
Collaborates and teams with other communication disciplines, teams and experts to deliver cross functional communications.
Work with the Global Digital Leader to ensure optimization of communications on the digital platforms
Collaborate with Marketing, IT and agency /resources to develop, coordinate and implement campaign tactics
Leverage common tools, processes, practices across the business that are aligned with relevant standards and policies, and as part of the Global Communications team share best practice and learning’s
Support Regional internal communications to support and foster engagement on N&H strategy and regional success stories
7 - 10 years agency or industry marketing communications experience
Extensive national and international marketing communications experience for two or more businesses specifically in the area of brand, emarketing and public relations
Extensive understanding and experience of cultural customs, legal, media and organisational practices across assigned markets
Fluent in English – excellent written and verbal skills
University Degree or equivalent in Marketing/Communications
Seasoned user of the Microsoft Office family of products
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver within deadlines
