Software and Systems Engineer

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.

As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll develop systems analysis artifacts, capture requirements, document the non-functional needs of complex systems and business processes leveraging IT roadmaps, Enterprise Architecture, and various strategies like application architecture, infrastructure architecture, API Strategy, and Service Oriented Architecture. This is your chance to develop your skills in Web technologies, APIs, Spring frameworks and various architectural styles such as EDA, SOA, Cloud architectures, while gaining mentoring and experience in mission critical tax payer systems supporting tax payers. You Have:

-1+ year of experience with systems analysis, and systems development using loosely coupled components, including provider and consumer

-1+ year of experience with developing software using Java, including J2EE platforms, .NET, Eclipse, and comprehending of security models and integration patterns

-1+ year of experience in articulating the systems using tools, including Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint

-Knowledge with developing application, modernization, open source adoption, and Cloud migration strategies for large enterprises

-Knowledge of current IT architectural paradigms and concepts, including containerization and orchestration, Docker, IAC, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS/DevOps, service-oriented architecture (SOA), event-driven architecture (EDA), and managed services

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Web Services, and Microservices Architecture, presentation frameworks, including ReactJS and AngularJS, traditional technologies, including Web-based and client-server, mainframe technologies, and PaaS platforms, including Pivotal PCF and OpenShift

-Experience with project, task, or team leadership

-Knowledge of how to use DevOps methodologies and tools, including Docker, Chef, or Jenkins

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including providing direction at conceptual and detail levels
