Purpose of Classification
Provides business process analysis, process development and automation services for the Information Technology Division. Illustrative Duties include budget process development and operations, Customer quality assurance survey development and reporting, special projects, internal web portal management, internal process and data audits.
Budget Process Development – Conducting current budget financial reviews and analyses for the division including, operational data and cost histories; monitoring and reviewing IGC billing activities and revenues, expenditures, and budget to actual financial reports; making recommendations to improve cost and operational effectiveness and make suggestions for inclusion in budget development. Customer Surveys (Qualtrics) – Compilation and analyses of survey results. Development of new surveys. Development and execution of business processes related to quality assurance and control for the division. Responding to complaints and questions related to division operations, activities, or other issues. Provides information, researches problems, and initiates problem resolution; and works with supervisors and managers to ensure effective communication, coordination and cooperation across units. Special Projects - Coordinating special projects for the division and department, including the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of new programs, and various professional services: assists in defining the scope of the project; identifies and recommends proper allocation of financial, material, and human resources committed to the project; formulates solutions and resolves problems; facilitates implementation of the project; and provides administrative support to the project as needed. IT Portal Website Management – Evaluates the content and consistency of the IT intranet portal and recommends changes for content, design, and implements approved changes Internal Process and Data Audits – Reviews internally developed and maintained processes and data sets for consistency, errors and omission and recommends/implements updates to ensure accuracy of operational process and data.
Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration, or MIS, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience and certification; supplemented by three years of experience in technology business operations; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must be able to use a personal computer and Microsoft Office products. SAP experience preferred. Understands governmental laws, regulations and policies. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License with any applicable endorsements and maintain eligibility requirements and endorsement(s) to drive a County vehicle as provided in CMA 5805. ITIL certification preferred. Fingerprinting required.
