You can have a significant impact on our cultural transformation.Located in Muskegon, Michigan, we are a multi-location, fully integrated manufacturer of aluminum die castings, zinc die castings, mechanical assemblies and injected molded plastics.Summary:Employees are required to set-up, operate, and adjust machines and all related equipment. Responsible to provide a safe, high quality, stable efficient value-added process. Knowledge and working experience in the secondary and/or machining operations. This is needed to support the quoted operational goals of Pace Industries.Duties and Responsibilities:•Operate machines to produce the required quantity of good quality parts to meet production standards.•Visual inspection of parts during production cycle of equipment.•Must have some knowledge and understanding of blueprints.•Must be able to use and adjust all equipment and devices needed in assembly devices.•Must be able to stand and do repetitive assembly operations for eight hours.•Must be able to assure required quality to customer specification.•Must be able to complete paperwork associated with the job function.•Must be able to work safely following all rules and requirements.•Must be willing to continuously improve quality and productivity.•Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual•Keep work area clean and orderly.•Perform other associated duties as needed to continue the operation of the department in the most productive and efficient manner.Positions Requirements:•High school diploma, trade school and/or equivalent.•Advance blue print reading geometric tolerance.•Knowledge of math used in manufacturing and simple gages preferred.•Must be able to read and understand written directives.•The predominate form of instructions are visual and verbal.• Operators must be capable of translating verbal orders in to actions.Please note that the duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job.
