The Red Hat India Business Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to join us in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will work closely with business associates and leaders to help them obtain relevant analysis from past records regarding their area of operation. You’ll be responsible for creating data for the Sales team, attend their meetings, and gather relevant information for their leader and Business Finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will primarily support Partners and Alliances (P&A) team and serve as their finance business partner. You’ll also work with the Data Analyst team to create reports and dashboard for day-to-day operations and planning.
Primary job responsibilities
Serve as a business partner to enterprise, PandA, and government teams
Actively interact with the sales team for forecast and other updates
Conduct weekly periodic reviews and forecast calls
Perform fiscal year planning and quota setting
Create manager and representative-level dashboards
Conduct data mining, historical bookings route, and product analysis
Provide support in project rollouts
Perform any other relevant activities as required
Graduate degree in a science or commerce discipline
5-6 years of direct experience in a relevant role with a software product company
Ability to work meticulously with numbers; advanced spreadsheet skills
2-3 years of experience in Salesforce.com (SFDC); any other analytic software skills are a plus
Good written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact with middle to top management and sales teams
Sincere and hardworking with a passion for doing well
