Intuit Communications Administrator in Mountain View, California


The Unified Communications Video Services Engineer is responsible for providing onsite high-touch support services for Audio Visual, Videoconferencing, and internal event services.

The UC video services engineer is responsible for keeping all onsite AV and VC systems running. In addition, this individual will directly support high touch internal events. Primary responsibility will be for their home campus, with approximately 25% of their time dedicated to supporting projects on other campuses around the world. While Intuit has a video first culture and most work can be done via video, there could be up to 25% travel required. In general, these roles are within a regular work hours schedule, however some evenings and weekends are required to support events or campus work.


  • Maintain the Design, implementation and support of conference rooms equipped with Polycom video systems and ancillary AV equipment.

  • Maintain the support of multiple end-to-end IP broadcast and streaming solutions

  • Serve as technical subject matter expert in Audio Visual and Videoconference technologies

  • Serve as senior technical lead on new campus build outs and ongoing campus refreshes

  • Develops and documents support and best practices for multi-vendor, multi-platform collaboration services

  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members on voice, video, network and other collaboration tools

  • Mentors and train other members of technical staff

  • Ensure day-to-day operational stability of collaboration services

  • Leads room validation efforts on system deployments

  • Support of C level executives when issues arise.


  • Extensive experience deploying and supporting AV and VC systems in a fast moving operational environment.

  • Experience with Polycom Group series endpoints and polycom RM

  • Some Experience with Cisco systems.

  • Infocomm CTS

  • Other industry certifications.

  • Crestron basic programming

  • Biamp Programming

Highly Desired:

  • API focused knowledge with relation to IP based media delivery networks and digital signage

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction or supervision
