Bruker Corporation Senior Sales & North American Key Account Manager for FAS Applied Spectroscopy in Minneapolis, Minnesota

  • Sales, application support, and further development of existing key accounts in the food analytical solutions (FAS) markets

  • Develop and maintain an account profile for each key account including geographic distribution, business units, product lines and applicable Bruker instrument/applications for each key accountResponsible for the full sales process starting with generating leads, also by the help of the lead finder network, evaluating the applications of interest for the clients, evaluating the right system configurations, preparing corresponding quotations with all Bruker good business practices to finalize the sale with the clients through a purchase order.

  • Negotiate and implement Preferred Vendor Agreements (PVA’s) for new key accounts, and update existing PVA’s before expiration of the existing agreement for key accounts headquartered in North America

  • Identify and develop Targeted Large Accounts (TLA’s) for Bruker Applied Spectroscopy solutions

  • Support of demo and trials during the sales process, reporting the executed feasibility studies

  • Customer trainings/coordination of trainings at installation or on demand

  • Coordinating shortest possible installation times after delivery together with the other parties involved (client and service team)

  • NOB coordination from PO received to scheduling system installation to secure fastest revenue recognition

  • Seeking new market opportunities and new applications within FAS markets

  • Supporting customer events like exhibitions, seminars, workshops etc.

  • Mentoring new and existing sales staff on sales to the FAS markets

  • The employee shall directly report to the Director of Sales & Marketing North American Applied Spectroscopy

  • Ability to work in an analytical environment: being focused, ability to structure complex request scenarios

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding targets in previous sales positions

  • Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the monthly working time)

  • Good people skills to easily connect with people from different markets (feed, food, dairy, agricultural)

  • Competency in efficiently and professionally guiding clients through the sales process

  • Preferably 5-8 years of sales experience in the analytical environment

  • Education: bachelor, master or PhD in chemistry, physics or bio-chemistry

  • Communication that requires good written and oral English language skills

  • Team leading skills/ personal management experience preferred

  • A valid driving license is mandatory
