Waltonen Sales Account Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Waltonen is actively seeking a Software Account Manager to join our team.

Your Mission and Responsibilities:

  • The primary objective of this position is to build, grow, and leverage a client base within the Software Sales Group.

  • Grow new markets for software sales with customers in various markets including automotive and aerospace

  • Expand sales through direct interaction with customer contacts

  • Prepare and present responses to RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals

  • Achieve company revenue goals

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the market segment

  • Cultivate strong customer relationships

  • Maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high-quality customer service

  • Prepare for and attend monthly sales review meetings

  • Deliver professional sales presentations

  • Attend trade shows as appropriate

  • Other duties as assigned

In Order to Qualify You Must Have:

  • Software Sales background required ? preferably in the selling of the Siemens suite of products

  • Superior sales ability, management skills, and leadership qualities

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Financial, business planning, presentation and negotiation skills a must

  • Solution selling experience required

  • Solid understanding of PLM ? Product Life Cycle Management

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
