Qualifications

The Regional Account Executive (RAE) is a revenue generating sales position and responsible for the direct sales of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge cars and Fiat, Ram light and medium duty trucks to large commercial fleet customers in Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, North and South Dakota. The position requires maximizing fleet sales and revenue with existing commercial fleet customers and developing new business with prospective accounts. The Regional Account Executive is responsible for developing the sales strategies to support the established targets in his/her region. This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager (West).

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining and building volume with existing commercial customers, developing strategies to conquest new accounts

  • Implementing and maintaining consistent prospecting methods

  • Developing strategies to overcome customer objections and provide solutions

  • Providing customer support to reduce order to delivery

  • Supporting customers with cost control reduction (TCO) initiatives and providing customers with accurate and timely updates on FCA programs including: VIP, incentives, Service Net, etc.

  • Providing accurate and fiscally responsible volume incentive program proposals

  • Developing effective local events to promote product awareness and sales

  • Providing accurate monthly forecast of monthly production requirements

  • Supporting fleet elite initiatives and promoting fiscal responsibility

This position requires the development of strong working relationships with fleet management representatives and with second stage manufactures and up fitters, supporting local NAFA events and organizations; providing input on future product content and process changes to maximize competitiveness and managing multiple priorities and aggressive timelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 6 years of successful outside sales experience

  • Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision in a competitive environment

  • Proficient in MS Office and/or G Suite

  • Ability to excel in building positive working relationships

  • Strong negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing

  • Automotive background, specifically in a fleet environment

  • Passionate about the automotive industry

  • Experience in automotive leasing
