Production Lab Assistant:
Temp to Hire
$15-16/hr Dependent on Experience
As a Production Assistant 1, you will be responsible for the processing of raw biological material for use in product manufacturing. You will also perform maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and containers to ensure safety and compliance, as well as completing required paperwork.
Processes raw biological materials for the use in manufacturing products.
Maintains production equipment and containers.
Cleans production equipment and containers.
Completes required paperwork.
Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outline in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance to the job.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 0 to 2 years’ related laboratory experience required.
Must be willing and able to work with blood and blood products. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Must be able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with a sense of priority.
Computer and/or typing skills desirable.
Excellent organizational skills desired.
Must be able to multi-task.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of laboratory equipment a plus.
Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures.
Skills in problem solving; including the ability to identify and appropriately evaluate a course of action.
Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects.
Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.
Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy.
