Job Description Come Run with Sasquatch as a Marketing Intern during the summer of 2020 in Downtown Minneapolis, MN! As our marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through formal and informal training, managing projects, attending events, networking with fellow interns, working with key Jack Link's leaders and team members. At the completion of your internship, you will conduct a final presentation on your internship experience. At Jack Link's, Marketing is the key leader of the business, so the ideal candidate will have a mix of strong business and marketing skills. You will be responsible for helping the marketing team grow their businesses and brands, including the flagship Jack Link's brand and the growing Lorissa's Kitchen franchise. The typical marketing intern program will consistent of two to three key projects that span across our businesses. Marketing Intern responsibilities: Support the development of new product opportunities Activate our brands in a retail and/or consumer environment where 1:1 engagement drives success. Competitive analysis work. Lead analysis of brand performance utilizing syndicated and internal data to gain insights and form recommendations. Help execute marketing plans including partnerships, sponsorship and event marketing Strategically develop processes that integrate overall marketing communications. Assist with compiling competitive and landscape reviews. Learn all aspects of the development and execution of a marketing support plan. Develop sales sell stories and support presentations to key customers. Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary Qualifications Minimum experience: Pursuing undergraduate degree: In 3rd?year with a major emphasis in Marketing or Business No Previous Experience Required Minimum requirements: Knowledge of 3Cs and 4Ps. General knowledge of a PnL statement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and employee motivational skills. Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
