Coloplast Corp. Key Account Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Key Account Manager Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our North American Key Accounts Team. We are open to seeing candidates that are based anywhere in the Central US, near a major airport. You are responsible for successfully driving sales growth and is accountable for building high-level strategic business relationships with a portfolio of Key Accounts at a National level. You will be responsible for creating and implementing priorities, executing co-marketing programs and for negotiating and implementing contracts to drive growth for Coloplast's portfolio of Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Skin Care, and Wound Care product lines within Key Account Dealers and Distributors. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with both internally and externally, develop strategic relationships, partner and provide guidance to the field sales and marketing teams. This is a field-based position. Major Areas of Accountability Establish and develop relationships with targeted Key Accounts that include, but are not limited to, senior leadership, sales, marketing, customer service and purchasing managers to ensure awareness and interest in Coloplast's value proposition and products. Develop and implement strategic business plans and priorities for targeted Key Accounts to identify growth opportunities and ensure in-depth customer understanding and commitment. Conduct regular business review meetings with targeted Key Accounts to review sales performance, measurements to set priorities and identify additional growth opportunities. Plan, coordinate, and execute co-marketing programs and initiatives cross-functionally with Key Accounts to drive sales growth with continuous follow-up and revisions to ensure high return on investment Acts as liaison between Key Accounts and other functional areas in Coloplast (e.g. field sales force) to ensure seamless execution and optimum sales results. Negotiate and implement profitable, sustainable contracts with targeted Key Accounts, working closely with the Pricing .and. Contracts team to develop strategic contract proposals. Develop and manage budgetary operating expenses within company and departmental guidelines. Basic Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent 5+ years successful medical sales experience with proven track record of selling to resellers of products Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight, approximately 50-75% Ability to build and nurture business relationships with internal .and. external customers at executive levels Strong business acumen, independence and assertiveness with an ability to navigate in complex negotiation situations. Solid understanding of reimbursement and billing of medical devices Strong strategic planning and project management skills High level of entrepreneurial drive and results orientation Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, and advocate Demonstrated strong proficiency and accuracy in data analysis and financial/sales presentations Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and CRM databases The job information contained herein will apply to the candidate successful in being hired for the position.
