AgileTrailblazers Team Agile Coach in McLean, Virginia

Our Customer needs an Agile Team Coach to work with Product and Technical team members to help foster flow from ideation to backlog to finished software products. The coach should be able to interact with all client team members to assess strengths and gaps in the product flow, collaboratively develop a coaching backlog, and then execute it to yield desired outcomes for people, process and tooling improvements. AgileTrailblazers is seeking an individual who is passionate about agility in the software delivery process. We are looking for an experienced agilist who has played many roles on agile team as well as coached teams.   • Performing initial and ongoing agility assessments

  • Training client teams and leadership

  • Coaching client teams and programs through initial and on-going iterations

  • Assessing for and recommending ongoing actions to be taken by clients

  • Teaching and enabling the client how to manage continuous improvement in their transformation, not leading the transformation for the client


  • 5+ years minimum of software delivery experience as Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Owner/Manager or Team Lead.

  • Experience with Agile Lifecycle tools such as Version One, JIRA, or Rally

  • 2+ Years as team level coach or as part of Agile Transformation Leadership Team

  • 2 + Years’ experience training teams and leadership in Agile Value, Principles and Practices

  • Strong understanding of Agile Metrics for Teams

  • Strong Understanding of Test-Driven Development, and Dev Ops

  • Expertise in Facilitation Techniques for Scrum, Kanban, Program/Release Planning meetings.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively work in an agile team.

  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
