  • Jacobs is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to support our customer in Mclean, VA area. The Data Analytics Analyst will be responsible for performance measurement and data analytics services for a member of the Intelligence Community (IC). This contract has had high success delivering strategic and operational measurement services to this customer, and is looking to plus up its manpower in order to provide better team coverage, and provide more opportunities for the team to perform more advanced analysis.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Advising teams in the development of useful performance measurements

  • Quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis or large volumes of system performance data

  • Developing measures of performance

  • Data analysis in MS Excel and other data visualization tools such as Tableau

  • Ability to grow into a Project Manager role

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically has a BS degree from an accredited college or university in a related scientific or engineering discipline and three (3) to five (5) years of progressive, relevant experience, or an MS degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline and two (2) to three (3) years of progressive experience, or a Ph.D. degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline.

  • 3 years experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis

  • Experience with MS Excel and utilizing advanced capabilities

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau

  • Understanding of basic database functionality and ability to code at a basic level

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with data analytics, data visualization, data science, statistics and/or economics

  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of MS Access and/or Oracle

  • Ability to code at a basic level, particularly in SQL, PL/SQL, VBA, Python, and / or R
