Job SummaryRF Engineer III, Company Corporation, Maryland Heights, MO Provide radio frequency RF and/or wireless transmission equipment requirement support. Responsible for end to end design, deployment and optimization of Company Next generation networks Macro, Small cells. Perform multi band LTE Optimization and Design of LTE 2500, 1900, and 800 MHz of Macros and Small Cell sites. Parameter tuning LTE idle and connected mode parameters and Coverage Analysis is done to improve the overall performance of the network. Perform ACP, PCI, PRACH planning and CIQ for new Macro and Mini sites using Planet and Atoll. Troubleshoot external and internal interference using spectrum analyzer. Monitor performance indicators for CS and PS domains services in terms of accessibility, retainability, call completion success rate, integrity, mobility, system utilization and availability for Ericsson and Nokia OEM s. Perform Market LTE Parameter Trials to improve the Company LTE network. Perform drive testing using Xcal and Tems and analysis of Layer 3 Protocols of drive test log for different technologies such as LTE, CSFB calls and EVDO/CDMA calls using Windcatcher. Perform Opex and Capex analysis for sites with deployment team and provide conclusion based on coverage, users, costing and morphology. Engage in new equipment, devices and tool testing UE relay, eFemto, Indoor solutions. Be involved in Root Matrix benchmarking testing and analysis. Troubleshoot areas of customer issues and propose solutions for improvement. Perform multi-Band load balancing to optimize traffic among LTE carriers and Multi-Technology load balancing to optimize traffic among technology layer. Troubleshoot typical problems like interference, handoff failure, low throughput / poor SINR etc. Perform Universal model validation using Scanner drive test data for all LTE and CDMA bands. Work on Volte design and optimization project. Be involved in Mini-Macro, UE relay, Air-pole and Magic box deployment and its performance after on-air. Perform Antenna selection based on pops, morphology, structural analysis and future technologies requirements.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field plus six years related work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field plus four years related work experience. Related experience should include at least three years experience in RF engineering working with radio communications systems including any amount of experience in the following: radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, construction drawings, RFDS, CIQ, PCI and PRACH planning and parameter definition.
