Radiologic Technologist - Marshfield
M-F; 9:30 am to 6:00 pm with an occasional weekend
Hours Per Week:
The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of technical radiography procedures that require
independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for
radiographic diagnosis. The Technologist works under the direction of the radiologist to perform
radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This individual
assumes the responsibilities of designated areas and procedures, and takes corrective action for
minor equipment and or computer malfunctions. Room setup, patient positioning, patient
screening, knowledge of CR, quality control, and radiation safety are the direct responsibilities of

Education (For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.)
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Preferred/Optional Experience: 2 years of experience preferred
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:
Minimum Required: Valid Radiographer licensure in the State of Wisconsin, Must have ARRT (RT) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA).
