We look to you to champion XPO values, ensuring a differentiated and engaged workforce.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability, and the opportunity to participate in a company incentive plan.What youll do on a typical day:Collaborate with the district general managers and district human resources team to identify and implement HR interventions that have a direct impact on the profitability of the districtAct as a liaison between hourly employees and management, representing both fairly and professionally; investigate and resolve employee relations issuesEnsure compliance with all company, government, labor, and transportation industry regulations; deliver training and interventions as needed to maintain complianceCoach and counsel management and hourly employees regarding policies and procedures, discipline, interpersonal and teamwork opportunitiesDrive communication activities, forums, and cadences that connect employees work to the broader business strategy; deliver XPO HR initiatives in the districtAssist in screening, hiring, onboarding, and developing new employees to enable them to add value quicklyEvaluate effectiveness of service center management teams; recommend and deliver interventions with support of HR subject matter expertsWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, youll need:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience3-5 years of experience in human resources as a generalist or employee relations specialist, preferably in logistics or manufacturingExperience with enterprise HRIS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Availability to travel 50-75% of the timeItd be great if you also have:HR certificationSelf-starting and disciplined in managing workAbility to identify areas of key business need and deliver bottom-line impactAbility to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and informationStrong overall business and financial acumenExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and listening skillsBe part of something big.#LI-SR1XPO provides cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the world's most successful companies, including Disney, Pepsi, L'Oral, Toyota and many others.
