Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Inside Sales Manager will be required to build and maintain a high performing sales team that is able to complete the required quantity and frequency of customer interactions with the necessary sales acumen to meet and exceed the assigned forecast. Will have the responsibility for coaching and development of sales reps through 1:1 meetings, ride alongs, team meetings and coordination with the training department to drive sales acumen and sales rep productivity. The Inside Sales Manager will network effectively and consistently using social media, internal relationships, and external relationships to maintain a pipeline of active prospects to facilitate recruiting when job openings occur. Data from CRM, Financial Reporting systems, Excel, etc. will need to be extracted and utilized so the Inside Sales Manager can assist in formulating strategy and effectively work with Business leaders to align the efforts of Inside Sales with the Field Sales Force. Additionally, the Inside Sales Manager will create/modify and maintain applicable bowlers and A3’s as needed by USMSO management and their business partners. They will use these reports to isolate areas of improvement and will develop and document appropriate corrective action steps.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet all sales growth and operational targets

  • Assist in formulating and implementing Sales Plan and Comp Plan..

  • Interview prospective talent. Primary driver of hiring decisions for the team

  • Build and Maintain Bowlers and A3’s

  • Provide Sales Coaching & Training

  • Collaborate with manager and Business Partner leaders to determine productivity metrics

  • Work with Business Partners to align and optimize strategy with the Field Sales Force

  • Network consistently to maintain an active pipeline of qualified recruits

  • Drive operational excellence through periodic internal and external benchmarking

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of three (3) combined years of experience in Sales in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration

  • Minimum three years of Sales Management Experience in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Skills include: CRM, Sales Training, Coaching, and Analytical Acumen

Location: Maplewood, MN

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation: Is not authorized
