Great opportunity for an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician! Lonza Mapleton produces biocides and personal care ingredients for the hygiene, preservation and personal care markets.

Summary:

nn

The Instrument and Electrical technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process control instrumentation, electrical distribution and motor control, lighting and infrastructure electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

nn

Will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the following:

nn


+ Process instrumentation for such variables as pressure, temperature, level, flow, weight, pH and conductivity.

n

+ Electric motors, motor control and motor starters.

n

+ Modulating control valves

n

+ Discrete electric and pneumatic ON/OFF valve actuators.

n

+ Distributive control system and PLC I/O and subsystems

n

+ Electric heat tracing and controllers

n

Lonza implements PSM and ISO 9001 work practices and preventive maintenance schedules on all equipment. Technicians will be required to perform PM maintenance and calibrations on plant equipment to meet all requirements.

Qualifications:

nn


+ Associates degree or apprenticeship required

n

+ The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience as electrician in an industrial chemical setting working with instrumentation

n

+ Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

n

+ Ability to be part of a rotating schedule to support the plant after hours.
