Position Summary: The Security Engineer will be responsible for installation, testing, maintenance, programming and troubleshooting of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion/Fire Alarm Detection Systems, network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate versed in; system Integration, enterprise level access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems. In addition, strong IT skills are a must, also must have hands-on experience in installing cabling, security devices, testing, and troubleshooting. Duties and Responsibilities: * Coordinate onsite deployment of MP Technologies partners for required service calls * Complete moves, adds, and changes for customers on CCTV, access control, and intrusion/fire alarm systems * Complete equipment installation/programming for CCTV and Access control products prior to being shipped to customer site * Perform onsite testing and inspections as necessary * Must be able to train customer on the usage of all applicable products used in installation and/or upgrades * Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as applicable to service, installation, maintenance of systems and OSHA safety standards Required Qualifications: * 5+ years' experience programming and installing CCTV and Access Control Systems * Basic knowledge of NEC and building codes and standards * Excellent customer service skills * Strong oral, written and Interpersonal communications skills * Must be available to travel as necessary * Pass pre-employment background and drug test * Excellent customer service skills required * Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills * Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: * Genetec, Bosch, S2, and Exacq VMS certifications * Hanwha Techwin, Axis, Bosch, Panasonic camera certifications * NICET Certification Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
