Supply Chain Planner I About the Role: The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Planner I will support the Peripheral Interventions Division. This cross-functional role provides the unique opportunity to be involved in strategic projects that have a corporate wide impact. Activities and tasks range from strategic to tactical in spectrum. This position requires a high-performance individual that can quickly adapt to requirements of the task at hand, a self-motivated independent thinker and problem-solver, with strong a work ethic. The GSC Planner will demonstrate attention to details and a desire to produce accurate work. Additional skills required include creative out of the box thinking, consulting skills, project management, coordinating and planning, skillful manipulation and detailed analysis of large amounts of data. The GSC Planner is also expected be efficient in working with the systems and tools that support the various business functions. The ideal candidate is also highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes and procedures. Your Responsibilities Include: * Work with the Global Supply Chain and Business Teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of the Demand, Supply and Inventory Plans * Develop content and material for Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) meetings and participate in analyzing and resolving issues impacting supply chain performance * Analyze supply chain performance and diagnose key improvement areas to forecast accuracy, shelf life, supply variability, service level, backorder and EE&O * Build and maintain methodology and tools for on-going analysis * Define and implement improvement opportunities for current processes and systems * Participate in Corporate projects, develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timelines, and achieve project goals * Supply Chain member on core project and extended teams from product concept through launch * Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement, supporting BSC s Quality Policy, Quality System and appropriate regulations for areas supporting What We re Looking For: Required Qualifications: * Four-year degree and work experience in related field. * 0-3 years experience in supply chain, materials management, manufacturing planning or inventory control function. * Working experience with DRP, MPS, MRP, SAP or ERP System. * Extremely strong PC skills utilizing such software programs as Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
