  • The Production Data Readiness Oversight Lead Analyst will be part of Data Management group under the future FRSS (Finance & Risk Shared Services) Data Services and Delivery operating model supporting Citi’s proprietary GENESIS system. GENESIS is a Citi proprietary data warehouse that provides an enterprise wide collection of contracts, positions and balances, which are anchored to Financials. This role will be responsible in the delivery critical transformational initiatives related system enhancements related to GENESIS and interlinked systems.

Key responsibilities and expectations:

  • Manage global production data readiness activities across Data Flow/Processing, Reconciliation, Data Quality, Data Remediation Execution

  • Responsible for global monitoring and communication of GENESIS Data Readiness status vs defined production operational calendar and execution SLAs to various business groups, across senior management and key stakeholders

  • Management and escalation of issues impacting “production” GENESIS Data Readiness to relevant workstream leads across organizations

  • Primary point of contact for GENESIS Program Consumption Workstreams and Finance and Risk Data Owners providing updates, status and support on GENESIS Data Readiness

  • Lead large size complex initiatives and projects to continuously support process improvement thru automation and standardization, expanding data consumption requirements and regulatory commitments



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Accounting or Business Management

  • 6+ years relevant work experience in large scale system operations for Finance/Risk related applications and data management

  • Strong knowledge on any of the following Bank Products (Debt, Custody and Trust, Derivatives or SFT)

  • Established and demonstrated strong leadership competence and ability to managed highly matrix functional teams across various business

  • Ability to coordinate conflicting time demands and senior escalation

  • Ability to support non-standard business hours (US and EMEA shift) including weekends and holidays as determined by Finance and management needs

  • Team player with strategic focus and flexibility to manage and support enterprise change

  • Outstanding written and oral communication, influencing and presentation skills – must be able to present and influence across organization level and functions

  • Able to present to senior managers and key project stakeholders (i.e., ability to articulate technical details to simple business terminology)

  • Ability to see and understand “the big picture” and being able to do long term strategic planning

  • Aptitude to translate strategy into execution in a complex and cross-functional organization

  • A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently

  • Knowledge of Citi’s financial and risk systems, financial and regulatory reporting processes and organization is preferred

  • Demonstrated capability and maturity to work in an individual capacity and must proactively seek out ways to enhance the mission and identify new data analysis needs

  • Able to set priorities and discuss experience in adapting to emergent or dynamic requirements

  • Excellent and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

  • High caliber team player with good judgment, flexibility and productivity
