Job summary

Represent Red Hat as the vendor of choice in the Philippines region. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join us in the Philippines. In this role, you will closely monitor every aspect of the sales process, ensuring competence and that pipeline growth and sales targets are achieved. You’ll identify various opportunities to develop Red Hat's business in Philippines and accelerate the adoption and success of our solutions.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Sell the complete Red Hat’s solutions portfolio within assigned enterprise accounts

  • Create and implement account plans to meet revenue goals

  • Develop and close sustainable bookings across technologies

  • Understand customer business issues and present Red Hat’s solutions as the best option to solve them

  • Manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Work closely with your extended Red Hat team and external partners to identify key projects, programs, and offices through which to sell Red Hat’s solutions

  • Maintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accounts

  • Accurately forecast and close sales in alignment with company goals

Required skills

  • 15+ years of field sales experience with a record of success

  • 8+ years of experience selling enterprise software and solutions

  • Experience working with customers to find suitable solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain

  • Ability to maintain focus on solutions selling in an environment with multiple offerings and solutions

  • Experience in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company, or in the sales division of an enterprise software reseller

  • Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technological strategies to decision makers throughout organizations, including technical, business, and C-level audiences

  • Knowledge of middleware or cloud infrastructure software solutions is a plus
