Description:

The Lost Cabin Gas Plant (LCGP) is located in Lysite, WY. It consists of three trains processing a total of 260 MMCFD which generates sales of 165 MMCFD. The Inlet Feed consists of 13% H2S and is received from the 8 8 Big Horn wells adjacent to the plant. The sulfur is recovered and converted to a liquid marketable product. Associated equipment includes many types of centrifugal and PD pumps, gas and air compressors, gas fired and steam driven turbines, furnaces, incinerators, flare stacks, separators, scrubbers, tanks, aerial exchangers, tube/shell exchangers, etc.

The Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Specialist will plan mechanical work, schedule mechanical and E&I work, track work progress and ensure implementation of the mechanical maintenance and instrument & electrical maintenance programs at the Lost Cabin Gas Plant and Big Horn wells. The position will be part of the Planning and Scheduling Team with dual reporting lines to the Planning and TAR Supt and the M&R Superintendent.

This position will work with operation/maintenance leads to deliver robust short-term schedule and will work closely with the Maintenance Lead positions to effectively and efficiently execute all maintenance work. This position will ensure that all maintenance is conducted in compliance with PSM, RMP, L48 HSE Management System procedures, equipment manufacturers' recommendations and LCGP Operations and Maintenance procedures. On a daily basis, the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Specialist will have significant interface with the M&R Superintendent to execute maintenance and continuously improve PM and CM programs.

This position will work a rotational 21on/21off schedule and live in company furnished housing near the plant while on shift. L48 Domestic rotator policy applies.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Safety leadership in personal, employee, contractor, and community safety.

  • Provide leadership and participation in site behavior based safety programs.

  • Closely work with operation and maintenance leads, deliver a daily, weekly, 28/120 day work schedule that satisfies the priorities operations and the resource availability of required resources.

  • Closely work with Capital project planner that ensure all projects are integrated in LCGP overall schedule.

  • Ensure weekly engineering schedule meeting is held to satisfies of priorities projects and welding tasks.

  • Lead daily, weekly and bi-weekly 28/120 day schedule review meeting, ensure approved schedules are well published.

  • Ensure that maintenance activities follow applicable codes, standards, manufacturers' recommendations and COP policies and procedures

  • Ensure that all work is coordinated through the SAP maintenance module

  • Monitor maintenance contractors and ensure compliance with the L48 Contractor Management procedure.

  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel for stocking of critical repair parts and critical spares.

  • Understand and Support the P&S Processes and mentor plant personnel to follow these processes.

  • Effectively use data and planning tools, check data quality

  • Work with the P&S Team to maintain a complete Integrated Plan, aligning work activities to enable integration

  • Ensure SAP foundations are in place (e.g. update asset register, equipment criticality list, BOM, etc.as required.)

  • Follow the maintenance planning process including using reservations, creating purchase requisitions, scheduling delivery of materials, resources, services, and equipment required at an individual work order operation level.

  • Take into account any process or operational constraints and ensure that all planned work can be completed within a reasonable duration while minimizing additional costs or field downtime.

  • Report on and carry out SAP interrogation of backlog work scope and the management of the work backlog.

  • In collaboration with the LCGP HSE Specialist, ensure the planning process incorporates risk assessments. Develop plans and adjust to mitigate risks through planning and execution controls for successful delivery of activities (i.e. predicable outcomes and safe operating environments).

  • Ensure task/equipment contingencies are added to the plan with material, resources, equipment and logistics

  • Plan corrective SAP work orders in the designated planner group. Fulfill all aspects of SAP planning guidelines including the following: scope definition, gathering procedures, operational planning, requisitioning materials and outside services. Deliver accurately planned cost and scheduled work orders.

  • Perform pre-work or pre-shutdown job walk through

  • Ensure planning is based on prior job feedback to continuously improve jobs (e.g. tools, procedures, required competencies, etc.).

  • Ensure planning utilizes field expertise to understand job environment, estimate labor hours, job steps, materials, etc.

  • Ensure planning identifies risk and hazards, includes risk mitigation steps and task dependencies.

  • Utilize standard job plans/templates for 'repeat' jobs (e.g. high frequency preventive work).

  • Utilize standard work pack format for content, approval, cost estimation (e.g. time and resources), and materials (e.g. procurement, logistics and QC).

  • Adhere to the plan communication process which describes format, frequency, recipients and distribution of the information

  • Create and manage preventive maintenance work orders (ZC Process). This involves changes to the overall system in SAP that generates work orders automatically.

  • Create and manage risk assessments that are required to complete work in the plant. Risk assessments are required for all class A hot work, confined space entry

  • Ensure work order / notification priorities are in place. The Risk Based Work Selection System (RBWS) is critical for choosing the right work in the plant. These data need to be filled out by the originator this position assures this priority data is in place.

  • Inform Contractors of Safety Requirements – Planning positions deal with contractors coming into the site. These positions need to inform those contractors coming in to do work of the site requirements.

  • Return and Repair – Any equipment that is requires repair and subsequent return to the warehouse should be identified in the planned work to alert the warehouse

  • Key Process Indicators – This position should be aware of and be able to report out the KPI selected by the site. They should be aware of the major inputs to the KPI and optimum values for the KPI.

  • Safety Critical Element Work – This position should be familiar with documentation requirements of SCE and be able to assist in the implementation of documenting closure of these preventive maintenance checks.

  • Tools – This position should be adept at using the tools for the work (e.g., SAP, Prometheus scheduling, Prometheus Shopping Cart, Prometheus Material Availability Coordinator.

Qualifications:

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Valid driver’s license

  • 5 years of experience you have in refining, petrochemical, or related industry

  • 1 years of direct experience you have in the development and implementation of Pm/CM maintenance programs

  • 1 years of experience in planning and budgeting for maintenance or instrumentation and electrical activities

  • Intermediate level of experience with Planning and Scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, SAP PM, Prometheus)

  • Willingness and ability to work at a remote location following a 21on/21off schedule and living in company furnished housing near the plant facility

Preferred:

  • 10 years or more of refining and/or process plant experience.

  • 5-year mechanical experience in an industrial facility.

  • Previous experience in a sour gas processing plant preferred.

  • Knowledge of and experience working within a PSM facility

  • Associate degree or higher.

  • Working knowledge of vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, infrared thermography, oil analysis, laser alignment and ultrasonic testing is highly desirable.

  • Experience in PSM including MOC and RMP program administration.

  • Experience in planning and scheduling of maintenance and I&E activities including turnarounds.

  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks

  • Broad working knowledge of rotating equipment, stationary equipment and electronic instrumentation found in refining and gas processing plants.
