What you can expect

Our unit Global Technology and Investments in the Catalysts division drives responsible care and profitable growth for the world's leading catalyst supplier by developing, improving and applying the safest and best manufacturing technologies to meet the needs of our customers.

  • You act as a focal point for the management, capture and distribution of manufacturing data to support manufacturing, OPEX and data driven decisions in the division.

  • While driving the standardization of semantic and technical models, KPIs, interfaces and documentation and their implementation, you propose and gain approval of projects.

  • You help build and then lead the Manufacturing Data community from within and ensure consistency and common understanding of data and KPIs whilst ensuring maintenance and change management of implemented systems and models.

  • By proposing a process you provide the needed input to ensure that Manufacturing Data aspects are included in capital projects and equipment design.

  • Furthermore, leading technology and OPEX projects with responsibility for time, budget, resources, objectives and scope fall within your duties.

  • By supporting and leading efforts for Strategic Business Unit / Operating Division wide system and data architectures you keep a big picture view.

What we expect

  • You successfully completed your bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as computer science and have gained several years of experience and knowledge in data analysis, modelling, database, KPI design, system architecture or development.

  • You have fluent communication skills in English and German and speak both languages on a business level.

  • Working in a team environment enables you to actively contribute your ideas and solutions while critically analyzing problems and communicating accordingly.

  • You are willing to travel 25% domestically and internationally with a focus on China, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
