Description

Kronos Cloud Infrastructure Group is seeking a seasoned Citrix/Windows System Engineer capable of integrating into an experienced team responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of company's Cloud network, services and security systems. The position requires practical knowledge in multiple technical disciplines commonly supporting global infrastructure. Experience administering Citrix XenApp, Citrix NetScaler, Edgesight and Storefront, authentication systems (Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS), security tools (anti-virus, intrusion detection, encryption), systems management (Tivoli/BigFix, WSUS, QRADAR, Solar Winds Orion), and network services (DNS, DHCP, WINS) as well as operational skills for VMware. • Provide systems deployment, configuration, installation and support of equipment, Citrix and Windows operating systems, and infrastructure software

• Design, implement and improve technical solutions to business problems. Develop, document and implement of standardized infrastructure practices and procedures

• Develop KPI and implement monitoring capabilities to manage performance and capacity in a rapidly growing environment

• Collaborate with other support teams to provide quality of service to the customer both internal and external

• Documentation in the form of basic How to documents, designs documentation, performance reporting as well as operational procedures

• Support ticket / queue management and escalations in a follow the sun support model

• Support and work within the ITIL support structure for Change, Problem and Capacity management

• Participate in 24x7 system support rotation and handle escalations

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years related work experience

• 6+ years of relevant implementation experience, performance tuning and complex troubleshooting of technologies is desired, preferably within a SaaS or managed services company

• Ability to identify and articulate the high-level aspects of Citrix, Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DFS, and NFS

• Expert knowledge of Citrix XenApp and Citrix NetScaler, Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and supporting MS SQL Servers

• Solid working knowledge of highly virtualized environments using VMware

• Excellent communications with highly effective written and oral presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, such as Infrastructure, Operations, SaaS teams

• Experience and understanding of scripting languages

• Experience with ITIL processes, HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance experience
