Oversee the daily operation of the terminal or areas of responsibility. Greet employees/agents, establishes schedules and assignments, discipline and evaluates employees. Provide required, identified training and keeps agents informed of changes in procedure, hours or operation, or upcoming requirements. Play an active role in overall safety program and assures operations are performed in accordance with established safety practices. Maintain accurate timesheets and attendance records for payroll. and distribute paychecks to employees.


Essential Functions:

  • Establish the scheduling requirements for employees/agents under their supervision. Makes assignments to assure that positions are covered and that the Client is being services in accordance with their needs. Responsible for placing staff due to call offs and time off requested.

  • Train agents, disciplines, evaluates, and documents employee performance. Provides direction for employees through appropriate communication. Issues disciplinary action and makes a corrective action plan to assist employee in altering their behavior. Commends employees for outstanding achievement.

  • Greet employees and assists them in providing level of Customer Service to clients, passengers, and other employees.

  • Act as a safety monitor in their area to make sure that employee’s are using proper lifting techniques and that all safety regulations are being met. Assesses equipment and building maintenance needs and reports findings for repair or replacement.

  • Tour operation on a regular and consistent basis. Must be accessible to clients, managers and employees.

  • Keep accurate timesheets of employee hours. Forward timesheets to payroll for processing. Responsible for distribution of employee paychecks.

  • Prepare reports, investigates, response to questions and provides documentation.

  • Follow all safety rules. Observes and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to proper authority.

  • May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on General Manager’s needs or airline activity.

  • Able to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.

  • Possess empathetic abilities in dealing with passengers and their needs.

  • Maintain communication with other agents and managers. Relates information regarding events or situations that may effect operations.

Working Conditions:

  • May work in traditional office setting although majority of time will be spent on tour.

  • Ability to stand; walk for long periods of time.

  • Must be flexible to work scheduled and/or non-scheduled hours as required.
