About the job

The Enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) business discipline is responsible for ensuring that data & information is properly managed, in compliance to the Regulations associated to our business and in accordance with foremost Knowledge Management industry best practices.

General responsibilities of the position:

Manage mandates associated to the Enterprise Knowledge Management environment and applications. Plan and lead activities or projects, implement solutions to ensure compliance to appropriate Knowledge Management practices and rules. Steer optimization initiatives with the intent of developing new methodologies or solutions for the management the enterprise data in accordance with the critical Knowledge Management principles and rules such as the search capability, the data authenticity and integrity, the control and retention and retirement of the records of all forms , intellectual property, records management and publication of the information. Those activities are made necessary and shall be performed in considering Regulations compliance, business efficiency and world-class customer experience.

Specific responsibilities of position:

•Involve in the development of IT solutions (new and improvements). Specific activities may be to perform compliance gap analyses, define and publish the KM requirements for the IT solutions, validate the IT solution and associated business process(es), modify or document KM related process(es) or procedures associated to the business discipline or to new changes.

•Conduct and lead process improvement initiatives and document and/or revise KM related procedures or standard works.

•Design and build appropriate reporting toolbox required to efficiently assess and monitor the compliance, health and maturity levels of the business discipline.

•Involve in defining necessary KM rules or improvements needing to be developed and implemented in our business, based on changes in technology and on KM related industry best practices.

•Act as a super user for records/data corrections or interventions in P&WC used IT systems.

•Perform audits and produce guidance and training material.

Qualifications required:

Information Management College or University degree with 2-3 years work experience.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

•Extensive experience with MS Office applications. Excellent knowledge of Documentum and Share Point applications.

•Demonstrated skills and work experience in Records Management and Information Technology including Web-Enabled applications is an asset.

•Must have strong analytical skills, and be process oriented.

•Demonstrated agile thinking is an asset

•Able to follow rigorous solution and business case analyses methodologies.

•Must have proven success communicating and solving problems in a fast-paced and changing business environment, adhering to aggressive schedules, and completing projects successfully.

Other useful skills

•Specific Information Technology knowledge or work experience: Product Data Management software solutions, Document Management software, Engineering Business systems, PLM applications including Enovia, XML, SGML, HTLM, and Web base applications.
