The Hospice Sales and Marketing Liaison meets with hospital discharge planners, physicians and nursing home leaders to establish working relationships. The Hospice Sales and Marketing Liaison is responsible for promoting the utilization of hospice and palliative care services to patients, families and the medical community. Must have business to business sales experience, preferably in a healthcare field.
The Hospice Sales and Marketing Liaison must be compassionate and empathetic; must be comfortable and able to use computers and various technology applications; must be responsible, diligent, persistent and professional; and must fully understand and able to explain hospice and palliative care services.
Bachelor’s degree in health care or equivalent, marketing/sales or public relations preferred.
At least two years of marketing or health care experience.
Must have experience with B2B sales.
Knowledge of hospice requirements and guidelines.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Good marketing skills. Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with referral sources.
Valid driver's license, and auto insurance and reliable/well maintained transportation.
