Robert Half International Bookkeeper in Long Beach, California
Seeking applicants for a full charge bookkeeper role at a Long Beach, CA based company. Applicant will be responsible for maintaining the books and financial reporting of the entity. Must be fluent with Quickbooks Desktop/Enterprise, online banking, credit card coding, and data entry. The bookkeeper will be responsible for processing and recording daily sales, payables, payroll, cash management, and updating the accounting software accordingly. The bookkeeper will report to upper management and be responsible for communicating to external accounting team.
Record, Reconcile, and Review daily cash activity
Import daily sales activity from invoicing software QuickBooks
Maintain, monitor, and process customer account balances (Accounts Receivable)
Receive, record, process, and monitor bills and expenditures. (Accounts Payable)
Download and code credit card transactions for entering into accounting software
Basic reporting from QB: Balance Sheet, Profit Loss, GL Detail, A/R and A/P Reports, etc.
Maintain, update and process the company QB file
Record and track various monthly loan payments and reconcile to loan balances
Review, enter/submit, and record payroll
Maintain various accrual and prepaid schedules.
Communicate and work with external accountants for assisting with month-end, annual, and adhoc reporting.

Organized and process orientated
Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience, experience with Arbor Gold Arborist software is a plus
Familiar with QB accounting software. General journal entries, vendor/customer inputs, and reporting.
Verbal and written communication skills.
