This is a fantastic opportunity to join the FSO Assurance team at EY, playing a key role in the smooth running of the audits of large and complex global clients.
Working as a valued member of FSO Assurance, you will interface regularly with EY engagement team members and external client personnel at all levels of seniorities. We’re looking for someone like you who has the autonomy to become a trusted member of the team and will be expected to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment and discretion and own the entire process, coordinating with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities:
You will work with Finance, Operations, Engagement Managers and partners to ensure the smooth running of non-technical project coordination related activities. You will provide day to day support to client teams, providing regular updates to Partners on cost reviews, budget and audit timelines. Furthermore, you will manage revenue planning for global accounts and manage the knowledge for these accounts, supporting pursuits and ensuring engagement letters are completed in a timely basis. You will manage a team of Account Support Associates and will provide coaching and training. The teams will look to you to champion initiatives and suggest improvements to engagement Partners.
Skills and attributes for success
Strongproject management experience, assisting with budget setting analysis,challenge work in progress, summarise costs against budget and presentbilling overruns for Partners to discuss with clients.
Reviewcosts to complete on an account level and present regular updates toSenior Management.
Actingas a key point of contact for clients, dealing with non-technical account coordinationqueries and proactively building relationships throughout the period ofthe audit
Workclosely with the GDS (Global Delivery Service) in delegating routine admintasks - supervise and monitor the work of the GDS function maintainingoverall responsibility for task completion
Manageboard reporting and contribute to the content of account managementmeetings, following up actions with Service Line Leaders
Communicating relevantclient information to account teams and ensuring client care surveys aredistributed as appropriate and the actions required are properlycommunicated to the account teams
To qualify for the role you must have:
Proven experience of project coordination. Planning, managing andprioritising work and complete projects on an accurate and timely basis
High level of competency in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint toproduce reports and presentations for internal and external teams
Relevant experience within Financial Services industryparticularly Banking
Proven experience of pro-actively managing teams to ensure thatproject deliverables meet the agreed timetable
Strong customer service focus and ability to anticipate team /client requirements
Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills
Proven experience of delivering owning and delivering projects onown initiative
Ideally, you’ll alsohave:
Experience of tracking actual costs againstbudget on a project and an understanding of financial measures
Experience of reporting directly to seniorstakeholders on a project
