About This Role
Reporting to a sales manager, the Account Manager has an assigned sales quota in the UK and Ireland region that requires cultivating and managing strong relationships with existing Forrester clients. The Account Manager will upsell existing clients by demonstrating value to customers’ critical business issues, work with other account managers as necessary to formulate strategy, and be rewarded for client retention and enrichment sales. Some travel will be required.
Nurture, renew and develop existing client relationships
Generate incremental revenues from existing clients by selling additional Forrester products and services and by proactively pursuing executive-level relationships
Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow revenues and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain an appropriate incremental sales pipeline to achieve growth objectives.
Use analytical skills to understand our clients’ changing business and technology issues and needs.
Work to develop and execute on account plans that position Forrester as a strategic resource.
Communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Proven success in client management and complex solution selling
Proven experience in managing multiple client relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies in a similar environment.
Proven experience selling to the CXO level.
Effective organization and time management skills; impeccable written and phone communication skills.
A results-oriented team player.
Someone who is conversant in leading-edge customer experience, marketing, and business technology trends.
A fast learner who is at ease with technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
