The Machining Department at Roush Industries is responsible for developing and manufacturing components for the automotive industry and many other industries. We are currently looking for a Program Manager who prefers a fast-paced, small company environment with flexible supervision and challenging assignments, and who seeks the opportunity to assume new responsibilities. The position will be responsible for reviewing drawings and overseeing the launch of multiple products through the machine shop. These products will consist of low volume production products, prototype, and customer job-shop machining. This position is located at our Livonia or Farmington, MI facilities.Responsibilities ulliThe Program Manager works with the estimator to create bid proposals for future opportunities/liliTrack the completion of new programs to help ensure budget and schedule requirements are achieved/liliExhibit responsiveness and a proactive approach to communication that will result in excellent customer relations/liliAid in developing and implementing processes that deliver quality and timely products/liliManage internal documents, data changes, and bill of materials/li/ulQualifications ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliExperience in project and/or program management in a CNC machine shop/liliExcellent blue print and GDT interpretation skills, including the ability to read and interpret drawings/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills/liliMust be customer focused and responsive to cost and scheduling as a Program Manager/liliStrong computer skills and knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel/liliMust be able to handle multiple tasks and work flexible hours/li/ul
