We are currently looking for a National Account Manager to be located in our Lincolnshire, IL Facility.
The National Account Manager is a sales position with responsibility for revenues ranging from $10-50 million per year. Responsible for the relationship, direction, coordination and sales growth of our big-box home improvement retailers.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
Serve as the primary contact and liaison with assigned national account.
Develop a plan to increase annual sales volume to or above annual quota for assigned account.
Compile a comprehensive understanding of the account’s culture, key personnel, and direction.
Stay informed with competitor's efforts and programs with national account.
Establish and maintain key relationships with buying influences and ensure that Klein officer(s) have relationships with senior officers of national account.
Execute strategies/programs that will maximize sales while upholding our margins with national account. Ensure that both short and long term strategies are developed and removed on a frequent basis focusing on significant opportunities.
Participate in quarterly review and planning process for assigned national account. This process shall include: establishing and reviewing 5 quarterly objectives, sales results and other pertinent topics. Assures completion and reporting of these plans as agreed.
Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelor's Degree with a Master's Degree preferred with a minimum eight (8) years selling experience with specific experience in sales management or national account responsibility.
Experience in the Big-box home improvement market is strongly preferred.
Ability to create and understand sales forecasting and developing sales programs. Create an image with account that emanates professionalism, competence, and credibility.
Seeking an individual with a high degree of people skills, a sense of urgency, and very adept at the art of negotiations. The ability to interact and interface with a variety of people in different responsibilities and different levels inside and outside the organization is key.
This position will involve 25-50% travel.
