JOB TITLE:Maintenance Operator

JOB SUMMARY

  • *

Support the Maintenance & Facility Supervisor/Site Leader on the daily activities. Perform all maintenance operation tasks on work tools and building facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Execute tasks related to the facility maintenance and perform minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment (ex: light fixture, sanitation, material order placement, equipment moving, cleaning/,/etc.)

  2. Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures

  3. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required

  4. Coordinate external subcontractors

  5. Interact with the Help Desk Support of the material handling providers (Crisplant, Intelligrated) for the problem resolution

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES/

/Technical skills:/

  • Knowledge of MS Office is requested

  • General low voltage panel knowledge (‘TGBT’)

  • Knowledge in the following areas is an asset:

o Knowledge in hydraulics and automation

o Knowledge of the conveyor technology

o Siemens S7 knowledge

  • Have a good knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and pneumatic technology. Able to read the mechanical and electrical drawing

  • Perform maintenance operations on work tools and building facilities in accordance with the maintenance plan

  • Attention to detail – High degree of accuracy and attention to fine detail

  • Fluent in French, good knowledge of English

  • The applicant should have the technical spirit

  • Use of IT – Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

/WORK ENVIRONMENT/

  • The applicant will be working in a logistics environment.The function requires working periodically on Saturday and nights

  • The applicant should be able to walk a lot all day long – few times in sitting

/EDUCATION/

  • Preferred electromechanical technician A2

  • BA4certification

/EXPERIENCE/

  • 0 to 3-year experience in the maintenance’s function

  • Knowledge of conveyor technology is a plus
