Cloud Applications Proactive Support Delivery (PSD) team is looking for a (Senior) Principal Proactive Support Engineer to lead Cloud Service Automation initiatives for Fusion Applications, Taleo and Big Machines Support. If you have over 5 years of professional experience; knowledge of Oracle Support tools and processes; strong analytical skills and hands on programming experience we would like to talk to you.
Cloud Applications PSD team is focused on building Service Automation solutions to automate SR handling for our Cloud customers. Our engineers are working on extending current automation capabilities in MOS to connect to the Oracle Cloud. We are working on building Automated Troubleshooting (AT) solutions that will read SRs, gather relevant troubleshooting data from customer's applications instance on the Cloud and perform analysis of the same to identify root cause and provide solutions to customer issues. Guide Cloud Applications Support Delivery organization in developing Project Holmes Automated Troubleshooting (AT) and Interactive (IT) flows.
Master Poirot and Enterprise Manager capabilities and develop high quality software modules to enable automated troubleshooting.
Leverage your applications knowledge and perform RCAs to identify automation opportunities in Fusion Applications.
Cloud (Fusion, Taleo, BigMachines) Applications experience (a plus)
Data Science, AI, ML experience (a major plus)
Outside the box thinking and desire to make a difference
Ability to convert a high level concept into a high impact initiative.
MS or BS in Computer Science and at least 5 years of professional experience.
Three years of technical project/program management experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
