An established manufacturing company in the PG County area is seeking qualified and driven Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to join their team. These are direct hire opportunities and the ideal candidate must be flexible with their shift availability. This company rewards their employees and likes to promote from within. This position pays $26.00 to $27.00 per hour and would start immediately.
-Installs, starts up, maintains, and shuts down production equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements
-Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Familiar with PLC and electronics
-Performs preventative maintenance functions on machines, equipment and plant facilities, as directed
Working hours: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Skills and Requirements:
A minimum of two (2) years industrial maintenance experience, preferably within a production/manufacturing environment
Electrical Maintenance is a Must!
-Troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude required
Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand, shop
and small power tools
Possess adequate knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry
Ability to handle emergency and pressure situations
Proficient with computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
